Leo Calder, born October 29, 1890, and Lucile Hacking Calder, born May 3, 1899, were married on August 29, 1923 in the Salt Lake City, Utah L.D.S. temple. They were the parents of eight children. This volume includes their known letters written to each other during their courtship years and/or to their family and friends from 1890 to 1939. Letters they wrote to each other while Leo Calder served a proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1926-1927 are located in two other, separate volumes.
